The "J" Visits Nova Scotia Again

ET44AC 3023, the EJ&E "heritage" diesel was leading Z120 last Thursday as the train neared Halifax, at mile 24 of the Bedford Sub.

There are a lot of downed trees on the code line here, but unlike the section west of Truro, the CTC seems to still be operational.  I was under the impression that the pole line still provided power to the intermediate signals, and there is a set at mile 23.  Perhaps the power comes from the other direction (Kinsac) for that set.

Nice shot. Would love to see this one come into Baltimore on an Ethanol train. We're getting CN on a regular basis it seems.
