Canadian Railroads > CP Budd RDC in Tuscan LetterboardsDate: 05/16/23 12:20 CP Budd RDC in Tuscan Letterboards Author: feclark On Saturday I posted a shot of an RS-10 hauling a wounded RDC to Montreal, at https://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?15,5677916. What took its place next day? I was in place on Carleton University's campus in Ottawa, on May 26, 1978, when RDC-1 9065 showed up on schedule, at 0829. For the first time in my young railfan career, I saw a CP RDC in a Canadian Pacific scheme, rather than CP Rail. So I got yellow letters on tuscan letterboards, with the newer red-and-white end treatment (not the original yellow and tuscan diagonal stripes). It felt like a nice treat. I suspect a few of you will find the buses in the background of greater interest.
