Work train North. I think the locomotive here is still very much alive working in New York....with the same
very nice sounding K5H horn still on it as well.

Nice series. The work train would be a wonderful modelling and operating subject. No two things alike, short and sweet.

The two cars ahead of the caboose are BCOL 6406 (diner/bunk car) and BCOL 6406 (tool/wash car), both ex-Milwaukee Road. PGE acquired those in the mid-1950s for its passenger fleet. They were still in the two-tone green livery when I saw them at Prince George in 1998.
