Canadian Railroads > Kool Aid F40's and Park car on VIA #1. September, 2000

1. VIA #1, the W/B Canadian, has stopped for a crew change and to let its passengers off to get some exercise. My father & I used our time for photos. F40PH-2s 6404 & 6439 (dressed in "Kool-Aid" paint) & 6440 in standard VIA livery are on the point. We had this power all the way from Toronto to Vancouver along with 26 cars. 2:00PM on 9-4-00 in Jasper, AB.

2. Park series Sleeper, Buffet-Lounge, Dome Observation car 8716 (Tweedsmuir Park) is the 26th car behind three F40PH-2s on this days VIA #1, the W/B Canadian. We're stopped for a break and crew change giving me & my Father time to de-train and get some pics before continuing on to Vancouver. 2:35PM on 9-4-00 in Jasper, AB.
