CN Executive Special Halifax-bound
Author: newtonville150

Executive special P688 through Springhill Jct at 09:09, August 25th 2023.
Apparently for a re-dedication of the Rockingham yard as "Robert Pace" yard.

About an hour later, a few miles east at Oxford Jct, CN Z120 with 558 axles.

My guess is that it is former ATK, ex-GN or NP.  And from the window pattern, it may be one of the 10 or 12 dome coaches that were HEP'd by ATK and given a few emergency windows.

Built in 1955 by Budd as GN 1325, a 46-seat dome-coach. Later BN 4605, then Amtrak 9465, then 9409 (HEP).
To Montana Rockies Daylight in 1996 (assigned Amtrak 800723). To RailQuest America 2001.
Leased to AOE summer and fall 2004 as AOEX 800723 "American Spirit". Never painted into AOE colors.
Sometimes used on the tail of the AOE. To CN in 2005 as CN 99/IC 800723 "American Spirit".
