Waterloo-St. Jacobs F Units, May 1998
Author: Guitartrain

1. On Saturday, May 23, 1998, Rodney Peterson & I spent the better part of the day chasing the Waterloo-St. Jacobs Railway's F units on their excursion train. At the time, there were four trains a day between Waterloo & St. Jacobs running on the Waterloo Spur. Here, the first train of the morning is returning south to Waterloo. FP9Au-6508 is on the point. It was built in November of 1954 as Canadian National 6508. 11:40AM on 5-23-98 near Waterloo, ON.

2. Waterloo-St. Jacobs Railway FP9Au-6520 is leading the second N/B excursion train of the day. 6520 was built in March in 1957 as Canadian National 6520. 12:12PM on 5-23-98 near Waterloo, ON.

3. Waterloo-St. Jacobs FP9Au-6520 is on the rear of the third S/B excursion train of the day from St. Jacobs to Waterloo. Here, its crossing the Conestoga River. 2:11PM on 5-23-98 near St. Jacobs, ON.

Great pictures of a great looking train.  It's interesting to see the details on the FP9.

At first this would appear to be a truly first-class CN train.
