Loleta Fernbridge Date: 04/27/24 20:57 Re: After dark in BC Author: loleta Williams Lake, 2016. This is the yard job that comes on duty in the afternoon to switch the remaining customers in Williams Lake and Exeter (100 Mile House).
4. Passing the old depot. 5, 6. Switching the mill at Norlake, on the northern outskirts of town. - L.F. Date: 04/28/24 02:45 Re: After dark in BC Author: hoggerdoug Nice shots. BCOL 4654 was the last locomotive I operated, was leading unit Prince George to Williams Lake December 2008 my last trip before retirement. Did lots of shifts switching at Norlake. The afternoon yard job switched the lumber and plywood tracks as well as the chip tracks at Weldwood Plywood. Night crew did all the wood chip tracks at Norlake. In the good old days it was quite common for each yard crew to bring 60 or more loads off the hill at Norlake per shift.
