Canadian Railroads > Fresh Paint and ReflectionsDate: 05/13/24 17:57 Fresh Paint and Reflections Author: cn6218 Back on March 29, 2023 the recently rebuilt AC44C6M 3304 was leading a late Z120 across the causeway in Bedford, NS. A year ago it was typical to assign 3 big units to this train, typically giving a HP/T ratio of not much more than 1. More recent practice has been to have 3 big units up front with one DPU, and the timekeeping seems to have improved, with morning arrivals in Halifax being the norm. Another re-manufactured AC44C6M, 3316, was also working as the DPU that day.
