Canadian Railroads > Coming Back from AutoportDate: 05/21/24 18:37 Coming Back from Autoport Author: cn6218 On October 26, 1998 the East End Dartmouth, NS job was working its way back from Autoport with a pair of SW1200RMs and a van. 7307 was remanufactured from SW1200RS 1397 at PSC Montreal in 1987. 7104 was rebuilt from 1248, also at PSC in 1987, but got most of the long hood and the generator from a GP9. All those changes, along with new 645 power assemblies, gave it a new rating of 1350 HP.
The train is near mile 16 of the Dartmouth Sub, and is about to cross over Pleasant St. and enter the grounds of the Imperial Oil refinery. There would be propane tankers to pick up there before they arrived back at Dartmouth yard. GTD ![]() Date: 05/21/24 22:24 Re: Coming Back from Autoport Author: feclark Nice shot.
