MLW Monday
Author: hoggerdoug

May 1977,  BCOL 703 at Quesnel, BC.  This would have been the "VO" symbol freight train, one of three daily through freights BC Rail ran in those days. 703 is in the siding at Quesnel doing a set off and pick up. The train on the main track would have been #32 time table scheduled train and most likely the "PV" symbol. During that time era, BCR trains ran like clock work, really puts modern PSR to shame.
Anyhow, I was the headend brakeman on the 703, had a few moments to take some pictures.  A typical high overcast sky and backlit subject., a so-so picture is better than no picture.
Thanks for looking.
Doug

The first four '630's ( yes, C-630's ) are interesting to see through the years with the modified filter system behind the cab. Kinda surprising how much the arrangement of filter boxes changed, the last years they seem to have added a bunch of vent as well.
