Normally the sleeper was an ex-CN "E" series car. Of course, they are similar - the difference being the Chateau having a drawing room and three double bedrooms and the E sleeper has four double bedrooms.

Still amazes me that ONR and the southern route of the original Canadian got axed and never could get a come back - even if a regional train. We all know the reasons why and the hurdles to overcome. Hope for the ONR.
