Canadian Railroads > 19 Years Ago Today in Halifax

An early digital photo taken 19 years ago today has Dash-9s 2565 and 2536, along with an unidentified Alsthom SD40-3 leading train 148 along the Transfer Track nearing Rockingham Yard.  The fall colour was just about to disappear as the days got shorter and shorter.

2565 has recently been rebuilt to AC44C6M 3335, 2536 is still on the CN roster, and the lease on the SD40-3s expired in 2008, with some getting WC numbers and other being dispersed to shortlines around North America.
