On this day
Author: hoggerdoug

Three images from November 9, 2008.  BCOL 4642 leading northbound on the Prince George subdivision of the "former" BC Rail. We had a very short train, reasonable sunlight, no rush to be anywhere, so with permission I stopped for a few photos. This bridge is at mile 330 and is known as Deep Creek even though it is actually Hawks Creek under the bridge. The bridge was built 1920 by the Canadian Bridge Company, is approximately 1,200 feet long and about 322 feet high. It was quite a rush stepping out the front door of the loco and climbing down the steps to the walkway.
thanks for looking.
Doug

Very cool stuff here Doug.  I'm glad you snagged some shots of this perspective of the bridge, especially in this lighting.
