Canadian Railroads > MLW MondayDate: 11/25/24 06:35 MLW Monday Author: hoggerdoug BCOL 715 had a bad day, June 18, 1984, at mile 474.4 Chetwynd subdivision. 715 was the middle unit on a southbound work train that collided with the northbound Fort James Switcher. Fortunately, crews escaped the accident with non'life threatening injuries.
715 at the wreck site, few hours after the collision. 715 on a flat car, going to Squamish for repairs. 715, repaired and back in service, red white and blue at Prince George, late September 1985. Date: 11/25/24 14:34 Re: MLW Monday Author: feclark Neat series. The mismatch of frame heights on GM vs. big MLW sure had consequences. I saw the results of a similar thing sitting at Alyth once. The M was missing everything below the deck; the SD had bent front handrails.
