 A brisk day in November 2022 finds the westbound Canadian making his station call at Jasper AB. There's enough time to shoot the head end, and even spend a few minutes in the local shops. 

I think VIA's paint scheme looks great in settings like this.

That is VIA #1 The Canadian headed westbound for Vancouver.
The power in the shed track is for VIA #5 The Skeena, or backup emergency power as required.

Nice shot!  The soft, indirect lighting does the scene well.  This is definitely the WB #1.
