Canadian Railroads > VIA #1 (19) Canadian Westbound - On-time to Winnipeg then DelayedDate: 02/21/25 09:34 VIA #1 (19) Canadian Westbound - On-time to Winnipeg then Delayed Author: jp1822 VIA #1 (19) westbound Canadian was on-time through most all stops to even Rivers, MB (west of Winnipeg) and then it seems to have sat just east of Melville for 6.5 hours. I think the Canadian is now on the move. Typically the train makes up a LOT of time and is even early into Melville, SK. Anyone know what caused, is causing the delay? TIA!

If I am recalling that right, it was about 14 hours (with padding). Now that timing is FILLED with padding and takes 24 hours!!!

There's no rhyme or reason to Canadian delays.
In short, CN happens. |
