What type of work is taking place?  Is GO Transit also affected?  Is the detour over the freight line from Burlington that goes up near McMillan  Yd?
Thanks

Metrolinx (GO Transit) owns the Oakville Sub. and therefore is responsible for maintenance.  The closure of this line occurs approximately every few months.  I don't know what work in particular is being done.  It is west of Oakville. The reroute of VIA trains will indeed be from Burlington Jct. up the CN  Halton Sub. through Milton and onto the so-called "north main line" near Georgetown and down to Union Station.

GO often closes the Oakville Sub. all the way from Union Station to Burlington Jct., but this time GO trains will run between Union Station and Oakville.
