Some pictures I shot of the magnificent Winnipeg Union Head House when
I took VIA Preference trip to Melville SK to join my wife for the summer in
August 2006. It's shame the station only sees two trains these days (The
Canadian and the train to Churchill MB)

Thanks for posting.

So, that was the station that CN used. CPR also had a grand station in Winnipeg which still exists:

Thanks for posting. The interior is beautiful. I was on VIA Rail 1 in November. But it was nice and cozy on board, so I didn't venture upstairs to the station during the layover.
