Dead Stick Season
Author: cn6218

The snow is gone, at least for now, in my little part of Nova Scotia (but Moncton got dumped on by a snowstorm Monday).  VIA 15, the Ocean was just about on-time last Wednesday, despite having to meet 511 at Kinsac, as they neared mile 26 of the Bedford Sub in Oakfield, NS.  It's not easy to see in this view, but there are 5 Budd cars on the tail end of the 16-car train, three Chateaux, one coach, and a former CP baggage car.

Great subject and colours, classic composition.
Almost like a Timetable cover.

I've always liked 'dead stick season.' The trains really pop, and it's almost like a mix of colour and monochrome.
