Some Canadian Variety from July, 1986.

1. Canadian National GP9RM-7202 & YBU-4m-203 are taking a break from switching. Early afternoon on 7-4-86 in North Vancouver, BC.

2. British Columbia Railway M630s-714 & 706 are leading a N/B freight on the Prince George Sub at MP 373. Rt. 97, the Caribou Highway is overhead. 7/6/86 in Kersley, BC.

3. An E/B freight, with containers up front, has six Canadian Pacific SD40-2s on the point - 5923, 5927, 5955, 5771, 5860 & 5915. 7-14-86, Cambie Siding, East of Canoe, BC.

Photo 3 is at Cambie, the siding east of Canoe, roughly 25 miles east of Salmon Arm

A great trio!  Those GP9/slug switching sets are what I remember as a staple of yard operations during my formative years.
