Eisenbahn Nostalgie Thüringen (Thuringia Railway Nostalgia) will sponsor a series of steam-powered excursions through Thuringia in eastern Germany beginning January 24, 2015 (today). Early trips will utilize DR 03 1010. Beginning Sunday, February 15, 2015, DR 41 1144 will be the locomotive used.

Details regarding the steam locomotives mentioned in the texts:

DR 41 1144, 2-8-2 (Schichau / Elbing 3350 / 1939) (currently being repaired at Meiningen)
DR 03 1010, 4-6-2 (Borsig / Berlin 14921 / 1940), 3-cylinder (as-built: streamlined; serviceable)
