Interpretation is "The Human Beast". Anyone interested in pre WWII steam in France should enjoy at least the first 15 minutes or so of the movie. I saw it on TCM a few days ago. It's about a homicidal engineer and of course a love story. I thought about how much of that equipment may have been destroyed during the war just a few years later.

These are both real classics regardless of the pungent rail interest. Read first and then watch! |
