Great set of pictures Gerry! Interesting spotting those vehicles near the end, are they privately operated or still part of the ever present Trenitalia?

Re the Seville trams on your wordpress pages...

If you travel away from the city centre to the San Bernado terminus the overhead starts at Plaza don Juan de Austria.   Once into the battery operated section each of the stops has a very short section of overhead and whilst the tram is stopped the pantograph goes up (although I find it difficult to believe that charging for such short stops is worthwhile).

Btw. the tram from this andle looks a lot like Alstom Citadis X05...but is in fact CAF Urbo 2 according to Wiki. So Citadis was then not the only tram type running on batteries ~2010.
