Looks great!

Are the boxes somehow broader than normally as they come off the side of the flat cars? Or is it just a trick played by the smaller loading gauge?

Standard 1 and 2TEU boxes, must be the loading gauge, which has been enhanced to allow the taller boxes on standard flats

Thanks, that train is a good one to see, it's always well filled with 9'6" 2TEU boxes.

Whistle not mandatory at crossings with gates in the UK. Ungated footcrossings require a blast on the horn.

My dad still believes that the only reason I brought him to England was so that he could drive the car we hired in order to see the signalbox at Three Horse Shoes.
