Oslo Metro - line to Frognerseteren
Author: yooperfan

Oslo has many tram lines and some subway lines.  On a recent visit i stumbled upon the subway line to Frognerseteren. Upon leaving the city center it proceeds at ground level and becomes a very curvy, quite step, and highly scenic rail line. It has the appearance of a 19th century line that was somewhat "metroized" in recent decades.

Highly recommended, all for the price of a subway ride.

Agree 100 percent...  To save a few Kroner, buy a day pass at one of many convenience stores such as Deli d Luca or 7-11.
