Railway technicians check a train wagon at the Estacio de Franca (Franca station) in central Barcelona on July 28, 2017 after a regional train appears to have hit the end of the track inside the station injuring some 48 people. The bumper is buried somewhere in the demolished front end of the train. Latest news says 56 injuries and no fatalities. Most of the injuries are attributed to the passengers standing by the exit doors waiting for the train to stop.....and they went flying! A witness said that the train slowed to the posted speed limit as it entered the station, but didn't slow down any more. Brake failure?
