Frankfurt to Kitzbühel, Austria by car

Currently in Frankfurt and will be heading to Kitzbühel by car. Anything of interest railfan-wise along major highways or in Kitzbühel, itself?

You must be kidding. You are headed to one of the most beautiful countries in the world and you have to ask "anything of interest". You should have taken the train. Search the internet.

Thank you for your reply. Have female traveling companion with bad back and heavy bags. Rental car is much easier as bags go in car with hotel staff and come out of car with hotel staff.

I was asking about railfan spots of interest such as museums or unique trains.

Jenbach in the Inn Valley, East of Innsbruck is the junction between the OBB and the narrow gauge Zillertalbahn and the rack and pinion Achenseebahn. The main line used to be great for train watching in spectacular alpine scenery but much of it is now underground, local service uses the old tracks.

I got out with the rental car and drove over to St. Johann. Tracks follow the road. Everything is electric. In a few hours saw a couple of freight trains, both push-pull and emu passenger trains and a steeple-cab switcher.
