Picture 1 - Getting around Moscow is made easy by the Metro. Security checks were in place but were done efficiently.
Picture 2 - In 1968 five days before Russia invaded Czechoslovakia I stood at this exact same place and filmed the rail action at Komsomoloskaya Square. In the 8mm segment, a policeman approaches. Whoops, I thought, I am in trouble but kept the camera going. Much to my surprise, he nabbed a jay-walking lady. In the attached 2017 video, no jay walkers appear.Traffic is about ten times as dense.
