Greek Railway Operations-forwarding info-The (Greek Railways) connecting line between this new freight port and container terminal and Athens area, in the hills above Elefsis Refineries...Now there is a traffic of about one or two trains daily from Piraeus / Neon Ikonion terminal to the new marshalling yard near Elefsis area (Thriassion Pedion) and then to Thessaloniki and Central Europe...Athens report from George Nathenas

Δευτέρα, 17 Σεπτεμβρίου 2018,September 10, 2018 at 7:26 AM Piraeus / Neon Ikonion Hub freight port , Logistics Center and Container Terminal: main hub port of Eastern Mediterranean and focal point of hub and spoke operation between liner container-"mother ships" from Far East and feeder-ships (short shipping), trucks and international block trains towards Balkan's and Central Europe's inland...Loading of the trains in harbour's station (COSCO has produced a video production).
