Belarus Railways (BCh) provide run through power on trains too and from Daugavpils which are invariably 2TE10s with the FM derived Karkov 10 cylinder OP engine. Today I saw seven BCh units, sadly all but this one ran in the wrong way for the sun.

These trains seem quite long compared to English and European trains. How many cars did they seem to average?

They are significantly longer, this was 53 cars, the length dictated by the length of the passing sidings.
