Author: Ray_Murphy What you describe as an engine problem appears to have been a catenary damage problem at Finse because there was a crew working into the night to fix it. I saw one Bergen-bound freight pass through on the second track. The workmen had to remove the safety ground and move their wire service car clear of the interlocking. Presumably the catenary was re-energized at that point (for a significant length of the line). The freight passed after 10 minutes or so, and the crew had to wait a similar length of time before putting the safety ground back and resuming work.
