Happy Christmas
Author: 86235

Very un-Christmassy weather in Britain, Christmas Eve was mild, occasionally wet, Christmas Day was sunny and cool whilst Boxing Day reverted to wet and windy. No sign of any white stuff.

On Christmas Eve the 06:40 Penzance to Cardiff local, 250 miles, 32 stops in a shade under five hours forty minutes, approaching its pre-penultimate stop, Severn Tunnel Junction.

A very Happy Christmas to one and all, best wishes for 2020.

A late Happy Christmas and you don't need snow in London. Everytime you get more then two flakes in a single day the entire place shuts down for a "Snow Emergency"!

Un-Christmas weather here in Louisville KY.  On Dec 25, the high was 69F; broke the record of 68F set in 1893.
Average for Christmas is 44F; chance of a white christmas is 10%.  Several more days of highs in 60'sF expected.
Back in November we had a run ox extra cold weather so it all balances out.

Appreciate yor posting and wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

The 2+4 HSTs took over the bulk of Great Western's Cardiff to Taunton, and beyond, local services in April this year.

Hmm, does it all balance out though? If the extremes are getting more extreme? So if we got to a state where the extreme highs were 20 degrees higher and the lows were 10 degrees lower would everything by hunky-dorey..?! I think not.
