European Railroad Discussion > Switzerland, Part 2, Zurich 1991

We spent about a day and a half around Zurich.  First making a roundtrip up from Luzern via train for a day. Then after having hotel reservation problems in Luzern, they helped us move to another hotel in Zurich for a night.  Inconvenient, yes, but the assistance by the hotel was greatly appreciated.  I will let the photos speak for themselves.

First is from outside the station.  While I was shooting the tram, the girlfriend spyed the Fendi sign and that was it for the day.  Lucky for me, I talked her out of buying anything there. We did have a nice day walking up and down the BahnoffStrasse.

Thanks to the long days during June, the sunset image was taken about 22:00 hrs. We left the next morning destined for Munich.  That day was designated railfan day and I made the most of it.  To be continued.
