European Railway Stations Part 24
Author: andersonb109

As the sign says this is Mail Boxes Etc. building in Inverness, Scotland. The station looks like an after thought smushed in between two more vintage looking buildings. Perhaps it this is the replacement for a previous structure that more resembled it's neighbors?  Photo was taken while chasing the Great Britain Steam IV steam tour in 2011.

I think you meant to type "Inverness" rather than "Fort William"...

Glad you made it to Inverness, Bruce. Here's back in 1982, with a departure for Kyle. The whisky train, and I am assured no whisky was harmed in the making of the flower bed. Chris uk.

Between 1966 and 1968 British Rail removed the old station building and replaced it with a new one of modern design.
