Any idea what kind of car is in photo number one? There seem to be bars on some of the windows. Railway post office? All photos taken September 28, 1996.

Yes, an RPO, more specifically a type UIz from [ the second batch of ] 1970-71; notice the letter slot under "Poste" on the car side. Great photo.
