Photos Showing Damage to Rail Infrastructure in Germany
Author: SOO6617

On the DB website are photographs showing the serious damage to rail infrastructure in Germany from storms this past week. It has been reported that over 600 kilometers of track will need to be reconstructed.

That is sad. I was in Germany in 2002 when the Elbe flooded and saw much of that damage back then.

Thanks for the link. Indeed, some very sad sights. I’ve now missed my second annual visit to Germany due to Covid. Chris uk.

Copy and paste into search. Bad news is it's in German and only saw 1 picture.
