European Railroad Discussion > Steam on the Marches LineDate: 11/13/21 23:51 Steam on the Marches Line Author: 86235 Two trains on Saturday, LNER design 3 cylinder A1 Pacific 60163 Tornado from Bristol to Chester and LMS 4 cylinder Duchess Pacific 6223 Duchess of Sutherland from Hereford to Birmingham.
There were serious delays following a fatality on the line earlier so the Duchess was almost an hour late leaving Hereford and was cautioned at Pontrilas on account of trespassers.
