European Railroad Discussion > Danish steam in 1964Date: 11/15/21 00:01 Danish steam in 1964 Author: sventomas In 1964 most long distance trains were steam hauled. On July 22 I was at the Copenhagen engine shed with a number of DSB E-class pacifics under steam. This class was derived from a batch of Swedish F-class enginges sold to Denmark during the 20's beign obsolete due to the electrification.
