Promenade Plantée Elevated Rail-to-Trail in Paris

Before New York City's famous High Line, there was this handsome 3-mile elevated trail in Paris:

This trail is believed to be the first of its kind in the world.

It is nice, I've walked it many times.

Nice shops underneath parts of the structure, too.

A couple photos, guess I didn't tag any more so can't pull them up.

A veiw at one of the overpasses

A view from the Promenade.

On a related note, a look at the semi-abandoned Petit Ceinture rail line in Paris at Parc du Vallette. I think, unless I am totally turned around there was an interface with the Promenade Plantee withh the Petit Ceinture where you could get a look through the fence at it.
