European Railroad Discussion > Tram riding in BrnoDate: 05/13/22 13:59 Tram riding in Brno Author: 86235 Today Duncan and I spent almost the whole day riding around Brno on the tram system and their impressive fleet of Tatra trams of varying types - T3, KT8D5 and T6A5, the latter running as a train of three on route 1.

Newport Station??? I'm a little confused 🤪. Maybe you guys ought to stay off the local brew! By the way, those T-3's look to be in better condition than most of the T-3's I've seen recently in other cities.

I just assumed it was a test, to see if anybody read the captions vs just looking at the photos. Then I realized: He [ ahem ] didn't use Spell-Czech. Best, CZ -- er, SZ Date: 05/14/22 13:14 Re: Tram riding in Brno Author: 86235 Steinzeit2 Wrote:

So it is clear that this is a good place to take a pea. Date: 05/16/22 13:03 Re: Tram riding in Brno Author: Hartington I visited Prague in 1964 when I was a young teenager. At that time the vast majority of the trams there were 4 wheelers operated in strings of three (power +2 trailers). There were just a few T3s around. Given that they used (I believe) PCC technology that's an impressive life span.
