European Railroad Discussion > HelsinkiDate: 10/16/22 09:39 Helsinki Author: dbrcnw Hello,
I realize this is slightly off topic but does involve a rail station. Does the tram line in Helsinki which connects the railroad station to the West Port operate 24 hours daily? With the time difference between there and the US I've seen trams operating after 2 AM Helsinki time and as early as 5 AM, again Helsinki time. I find viewing the harbor operation very interesting as the passenger vessels come and go. Thanks. The link below shows an image of a tram at the station. Credited to Wikimedia Commons is an image of a tram at the Helsinki Railway Station Date: 10/17/22 07:45 Re: Helsinki Author: 86235 dbrcnw Wrote:

Thanks for the answer. That clearly makes sense from and operating standpoint. I suppose it a ferry somehow got so late as to arrive beteen 2 and 5 AM there could. be a "call out" of drivers if the wait would be extremely long.
