Work took me to Lisbon several times, but rarely with any time for railfanning. I did get one trip last spring with a day free, and I rode the train from Orient to Entroncamento. Really neat that you saw some Stadler diesels. I didn't see any of those on my visit, but did see one of the Alsthom 1900-series diesels. The throaty growl of those is quite impressive!
