The Great Little Trains of Wales - Russell Climbing Towards Rhyd
Author: Rattie

During a brief sunny interlude on an otherwise typical Welsh November day, it rained most of the day, Russell, a 2-6-2 Saddle Tank locomotive built in 1906, is climbing towards Rhydand, the highest point on the Welsh Highland Railway. The locomotive is currently based at the Welsh Highland Heritage Railway in Porthmadog.
