IORE Electric at “Speed.”

1.) An LKAB/Malmtag IORE at speed. 60 km an hour +.  Taken near Rautas, Sweden. May 3,

IORE 112 is one of the oldest units that LKAB KIRUNA owns.

They climb steep grades well from what I have seen of them in photos.

The IOREs are extremely well maintained.  MTAB knows how to care for their units. Components are changed out on a schedule, not when it breaks.  One can find 28 or 30 units working at any one time.

The ride is exceptional and extremely quiet..
