Carnforth '73
Author: kurtarmbruster

While (whilst) Dad and I were in England October 1973, I stopped in at the railway museum at Carnforth and was pleasantly surprised to find a classic Stirling 0-6-0 steaming in the capable hands of driver Ernie Hewitt. I might also mention it was FREEZING in the UK then, but somehow, it didn't bother me. Nobody does historic railway pres like the Brits!
