Short, fast freight in the Czech Republic

One interesting aspect of watching the webcams is the number of short (20-30) cars long freight trains. Many trains, unit auto carriers or coal or mixed freight.

Sometimes they go in the hole to be passed by passenger trains. Occasionally long freight (40-45 cars) will have a pusher. I'm guessing these unit trains to directly to the receiver.

Yup, sure is a whole different world Over There!
NO body Over There ever runs more than 4-6 hours at a time.

Pushers or DPU. See them occasionally on ore / coal trains at Oustecke nadrazi camera on U tube

Great camera, lots going on.
