Olympic TGVs
Author: rbenko

Two TGVs line up at Gare de Lyon station in Paris on April 19, 1992.  They are both carrying the "Olympic Partner" banner for the recently concluded 1992 Winter Games in Albertville, France.

One of my few train pictures I took on my first trip overseas as a young 24-year-old whippersnapper.

Nice shot Rob.  I notice the unit in front of the photo has its coupler cover removed.  I wonder where it is stored when in this condition....

isn't that what the TGV uses fpr a coupler?   these TGV's are in the junk yard now, a huge junkyard with a lot of them

It parts in half and folds back into the nose shroud.  You can see a tiny piece of it sticking out.
