This station is in the heart of the city of Edinburgh,  Scotland.  It appears to have frequent service and easy access.

This is an hours movements in and out of Waverley this morning. The only operator I can't see is Avanti West Coast, which run Edinburgh to London Euston services.

Arrrived at Waverly as a nine year old in 1968 on the legendary Flying Scotsman from London Kings Cross.  Powered by one of BRs "Deltic" diesels, I think the run took six hours with one en route stop at Newcastle.
