European Railroad Discussion > Firenze-Rifredi action Florence Italy (Morning of 9/15/24)

Thanks to help/advice from others here on TO, I made my way to Rifredi in Florence while my wife was taking a short rest from our touring. Didn't get any freight (as was my hope), but did see some neat passenger action.

Image one - A Bombardier E464 and a set of Hitachi Vivalto cars make a stop on their way to the main station in Florence.

Image two - An Alta Velocità Frecciarossa from Turin to Rome blasts through the station. The ETR500 train was built by AnsaldoBreda and has a rather unique, almost spider eyes appearance on the front end.

Image three - An Alstom ETR675 Avelia Pendolino speeds past the platform as Nuovo Trasporto Viaggiatori Italo 8902 from Bologna to Naples.

Image four - FS Trenitalia Alta Velocità Frecciarossa 9310 from Naples to Bologna races through under the auspices of an AnsaldoBreda ETR500.
