ICG MoW did this on the afternoon before our standard 2am departure.
The entire run was on the ICG. Water stop at Grenada, departing after Amtrak's Panama Limited passed. Press picked up at Durant. No helpers. 211 miles. A group of us followed it thru Memphis a short distance. After we watched it roll by for the final time at Belz Avenue in south Memphis, we stayed and listened to it until all sound faded out. None of us will ever forget that sight and sound experience.
